Petal + Pestle

The Petal + Pestle is the perfect tool to complete your mud kitchen. Inspired by my daughter, shaped like a daisy and created in honour of her love for 'mushing' nature treasures together. This was made for her.
 
This timeless wooden tool invites children to explore textures and colours as they blend and crush together their own earthy concoctions.  Perfect for sensory play, potion making, mud kitchens and so much more!
 
Each handcrafted piece will vary in shape, grain and colour, boasting tones from light red through to dark browns and blacks, making every piece unique.

Made from doussie redwood

Two piece set measuring approximately: 11cm wide x 8cm high (pestle 14cm long)
Made from doussie redwood and coated with olive oil.

Care Instructions
Rinse and dry immediately after use.
Do not leave your wooden pieces in water or fizzy play.
Soaking can cause the wood grain to lift and the surface to become rough.
You can refresh your wooden pieces as often as you like to maintain the natural beauty of doussie wood.
Coat in a food safe oil or wax with a dry cloth.
Olive oil or coconut oil works a treat.
Do not place in dishwasher.
